Communication campaign and programme for the day

The charter is aimed at stakeholders in the public and private sectors and seeks to change mind-sets and practices. It is made up of a series of commitments to be adopted in order to make progress towards gender equality at work.

Basic maternity leave has been extended from 16 to 18 weeks. The aim is to enable women to maintain a balance between their families and their careers.
